Featured Cake

OCCASION: Birthday
FLAVOR: Chocolate Peanutbutter

I made this cake for my best friend Mallory. Mallory has many obsessions, most of which relate to TV or books: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, and so on. I've been planning on making her a Rocky cake for months now, but it was definitely difficult to narrow down on a theme. The most difficult piece was definitely the glove, which I carved as best as I could to mirror the shape and curves of a real boxing glove. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Please share your thoughts!

  3. You asked for flavor suggestions. How about green tea cake? (I see a multi-layer torte-style cake- pale green with buttercream filling.)

Or maybe Earl Grey tea?( Bergamot is an interesting flavor. Maybe with lemon curd or orange marmalade?)

    Mmmm -chai tea cupcakes?

    What about lavender cake?
